Best movie ever!

What one movie do you think is the best? Not your favorite movie, or the funniest, or anything like that, but just the best movie you can think of. Something that you would like everyone to see from ages 5 to 105.

For me that movie would have to be Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark. That movie has it all; action, comedy, drama, romance. It's too legit too quit!

I don't know. Ben Hur, Citizen Kane, and 2001: A Space Odyssey are all great. For something more fun and less intellectual, Star Wars: A New Hope. I could name some other movies, but they probably wouldn't be appropriate for a 5-year-old.

Logan's Run; there's nothing better to show your kids than the bright future they have to look forward to when they grow up. :P

I have yet to see Logan's Run, but I've heard good things about it. I'll have to download it. Ugh... I mean... -rent- it.

My dad made me watch Logan's Run at a very young age--kinda like Caddy Shack--so that it would affect my brain meats or something. There is only one other movie that has a better message to the audience, and that would be The Goonies...or Wayne's World... I'll have to check again.

I have to agree with you, Highlander is amazing.

I have the original US release, the director's cut, and the Immortal Edition. I just really love that movie.

Better yet, Highlander 2... :P

It was so bad it was probably the best one yet. I don't understand why people don't remember this gem of a movie, they tend to just go from one to three to TV show (P.S. the raven spinoff wasn't my cup of tea). Is this because they explain it away as them being banished aliens? That's at least how I understood it back then. Unfortunately, the whole idea of Connor making it to the ripe old age of "decrepit" for this movie to even take place has been sod over by Endgame--I wonder if the writers did this retcon on purpose, or they actually just forgot they made a Highlander 2. :P
