Duke Nukem 3D

The DOS version of the Duke Nukem 3D soundtrack is now online. I've also re-zipped several more of the older soundtracks. They should be all finished up by the next update.

It's supposed to be like that. Read the second to last question in the FAQ for the explanation.

If you don't like the double loop, or the Vorbis format, you can always take the MIDI rip and record your own copy using Winamp.

Are you only including songs that were included with the game? I ask because Lee Jackson posted an early version of Whomp on his website a few years back to demonstrate how songs can change depending on what the game needs. It's interesting to hear how it changed before the final version - it's almost a different song, and it might be worth including, at least in the MIDI distribution.

I agree. I posted some of the preliminary music from DOOM as well. I'm only including them in their ripped form, because I doubt many people will want to listen to prototype music.

Thanks for contributing!
