Move over Google OS, I think Waves are going to be more useful in the long run than the OS. Why? They threaten to replace a lot of communication tools at once, when properly used. I'm liking the fact it helps blur distinctions between things like blogs, comments, e-mails, and instant messaging, while making wiki documentation and such more streamlined as well. An all-in-one communication tool that looks intuitive enough to provide a sense of familiarity as well as innovation is how I'd bill it.

I've heard a lot here and there about it. Seems like it could change a lot of things. I just want to say that blurring the line between a blog and an IM conversation might not appeal to everyone. I like the idea and will probably use it, but I don't think it's going to turn the internet on its head.

It does look like a pretty nice document system, though I think I'll have to watch the looong video to see all of the benefits.
