Nah, I made this board because I was expecting that some of my local friends would join and we could use this as a meetup place, but since I can just talk to them on the phone none of them have joined.

Maybe, someday, they'll hear my cries of anguish and help me populate this board.

Actually, we get some exciting stuff going on. Today we had about twenty people playing dodgeball in the park and then some football, boffering, and after nightfall we played some zombie tag. It was pretty cool.

It sounds fun, this side of Michigan is boring. You would think with two citys with Grand in their name there would be more mock combat around here.

Does that mean you're in Grand Rapids?

I've met a few people that boffer in that area, although they use Dagorhir rules.

No, but I'm close enough. We also have to consider my age and the fact that my mother diosent support the hobby or my approching strangers on fighitng with anything padded or not.

She'll warm up to it eventually. Even if she doesn't support or understand it, she'll most likely stop trying to prevent it. Just another one of those crazy hobbies that her son likes, you know?

I try explaining my hobby of ripping videogame soundtracks and people look at me like I'm a few cards short of a full deck.
