About the hiking trip...

My condolences. I saw the hiking trip on your site and I was like "dang, the one time I decide to head to a Renfaire he's going hiking." I actually regret that- despite getting some info on a place to check out for boffering and looking at cool swords, I found it pretty boring. I would have much rather gone on a hike!

The only thing that sounds bad though is the noon thing. I was in MMA class until noon that day and expected to be there until one but we got out early. Wonder if that could have been worked around? Oh well, guess I should pay more attention to Thursday nights so I know when these events are going down!

I'll probably be going again at least once more before the end of the season, and I'll do it later in the day, since that was one of the reasons a few of my friends skipped out.

Sorry about the boring time at the renfest though. I remember it being quite boring in my early years as well. You basically need to have several friends there, or make several friends there for it to be exciting.
