Had a weapon idea you've always wanted to see attempted? Just looking for a weapon you've seen done but can't find it? Ask here!

Personally, I don't see too many Soul Edges. Any version is fine though I like SC2 Nightmare's Player two variant the most.

we had someone joke a ways back about modding out a couple hula hoops in a half-assed attempt at Tira's ring blade. never really got off the ground with any of it, though. here's an interesting challenge; has anyone determined a viable means of making tonfas? our group has gone through about three different models with varying results... most of which can be summed up with "pvc joints have a tendency to break in combat."

not ones that are to be used like they should be. when your goal is to make a piece of wood as deadly as you can, it's a bit hard to make the same design safe.

Why not make the handle out of PVC and the striking area out of fiberglass? That might increase longevity.

I had a friend who actualy built one of theos rings, they dont work very well, they either fly out of your hands from trying to keep it going at a constant motion or people just stab right threw the center of the ring for the kill.

as for tonfas, I was useing a set for awhile, they work very nice.

I made a set once, I used PVC pipe and the connectors for them. I then took some fiberglass clothe, and some resin, and dipped the clothe in the resin and then wrapped the connector with it, which made the connector more durable. It worked and i still have them, and that was 2 years ago. They still see some major use in our group, but mostly by me, lol.
