Just by looking at the armory subforum, it's pretty clear to me that there are plenty of people here who share my passion for making stuff. I figured some of you might like my favorite (computer) game, Phun! It's a 2d physics sandbox that lets you build pretty much anything. Takes a bit to get used to ALL of the features (remember to go into options and set it to advanced mode for access to everything), but it's really possible to make anything from a car to a simulated solar system formation. The newest version also has some limited scripting options.

And if you're wondering why nothing is happening in the forum, there's a bit of a back story. Phun started off as a college project but gained a community even then. However, the guy's professor liked it so much that he hired him at his software company, which made physics simulators. Phun got a new website and forum free of ads, but the updates stopped. The company announced that they were going to make a professional version which they would sell instead of give freely like Phun. Seven months later, the version you'll find there came out, and a few months after that, the professional educational version came out, called Algodoo. Algodoo got its own site and forums, and since the company didn't want to moderate two forums at once, they had everyone move over to the Algodoo forum and locked the Phun forums. The two programs' files are mostly compatible, but Algodoo (I have it, shit is so cash) costs about $40, runs at least twice as fast, has laser optics and slightly better graphics, and has fewer bugs and some random simulation improvements.
Also, I'm Frank on both the locked Phun forums and the Algodoo forums.
