Severe memory leak in music player?

Postby Kwyj on Fri Oct 16, 2009 11:41 pm

I could be mistaken, but I left a page on vgmpf.com open with K-Meleon 1.5.3 and Java 1.6.0_15 , and it appears that over the course of a few hours it managed to consume all available RAM on my old Windows 2000 box. At least, I managed to get the Java console open and saw an out of memory error at the end.

This might warrant further testing. Has anyone else seem something like this?

Yikes! Well, obviously we can't have that! I'll test the player back here and try and reproduce the problem. Maybe there's a newer version of the applet as well. If not, I'll find a replacement.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
