http://www.jeffcrouse.info/news/prayingathome/ (url tag seems broken?)

I fully support this project- not the idea of mechanizing prayer (that seems to take the whole ritual/ceremony aspect out of it, don't it?) but the mockery it makes to those who apply science to realms that were never scientific in the first place.

I think it has a place against blind faith too, as there should always be some sort of rational reason for believing in anything.

Yeah, "faith" seems to have a fairly loose colloquial definition. Some people take it to the extreme, to mean only "blind" faith, while others broaden it up to mean any reasonable expectation.

Either way, I find the use of the term, "Standard Prayer Units" to be a funny one!
