I was a little skeptical of Firefox for a long time, but after using it for a few months I began to prefer it. Now I'd never go back to IE.

I still prefer IE to Firefox. Firefox still has a number of issues that really bug me. First and foremost is that it screws up the formatting of a lot of websites. I'm noticing more and more sites in which the text in various places is overlapped, such as Yahoo Mail and the Dreamhost control panel. Firefox doesn't work at all with the site I use to pay my car bill online. Secondly, I hate that when you download something, it doesn't let you choose a location. It automatically downloads everything to the desktop and I hate cleaning out and closing that stupid "clean-up" box. I also prefer IE's method of clicking that small tab next to the window to open up a new tab as opposed to going to "File => New Tab" in Firefox.
Unfortunately, though, for some reason IE has been crashing on me a lot lately, and I can't figure out why. I just hope whatever the problem is, the next update will fix it.

Yahoo Mail issue: I've NEVER noticed it. I DO notice this problem with Opera, however. Download location: Click Tools -> Options, and select the downloads tab. The options to change are there.

Yahoo Mail text overlap.
Same thing with Dreamhost.
I've also noticed something else about Firefox.
This is the Kid Icarus Shrine in IE.
Scroll down a bit, and the background stays in place.
But in Firefox, scroll down, and...uh-oh, the background starts repeating itself.
This is especially annoying on this page that was purposefully mocked up to look like what my site looked like in 1999 (good thing it doesn't look like that anymore).
Here's the same scene in Firefox. Not only is the background repeating, but the text is all weird, too. I've been told I could fix the text by changing the tags in every single table, but I still haven't figured out how to fix the background problem.
Well, my PC updated itself last night, but IE is still crashing. *sigh*

I'd blame the problem on 800x600 but that's obviously not the root of the problem.
Hey, at least it's not as bad as these shots in Opera... (Only I don't see them anymore! Maybe they're FIXED OMFG)

FINALLY figured out how to do a fixed background in Firefox!
Didn't even know it was possible until I was administrating a friend's message board and noticed it had a fixed background that was working in Firefox.
I think the overlapping text problem has something to do with the settings. This browser is set so that the text never appears under a certain size and that seems to cause some text to overlap if it's meant to be smaller.
