Boxing management? It sounds interesting. Can you make your boxer eat another boxer's ear?

Does anyone here like Diddy Kong's Racing for the N64? I missed it back in the N64 days, I was too busy playing Mario Kart 64.

While Diddy Kong's Racing doesn't have the favorite characters and icons from Nintendo, it does have a lot more replay value, because you get to use carts, hovercrafts, and planes for each level. There are also more tracks, and several ways to beat the tracks.

It's a pretty spiffy game, check it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diddy_Kong_Racing

Eh, the boxing management is fun till you win the belt... then you try to end people's careers by beating them up BETWEEN rounds. My boxer actually killed one of the other boxers, and one of the other four in the legends committed suicide! Plus the boxing action is very slugfest stylish which isn't really my taste.

DKR was fun actually, but it started to remind me too much of Super Mario 64 while trying to beat it. Still, I have the tracks and occasionally play the track from Everfrost Peak.

I not only got everything back, but I got more than I ever did before. I got all the Top forms of all the weapons except the sword (which you need to use a glitch to get), whereas before I think I had the Glove, Spear, and possibly the Boomerang and that was it. I got everyone's weapon skills charged to 8, all magic skills charged to 8, and all three characters' levels to 99.

The next time I replay Secret of Mana, I'm going to play a low-level game to make it more like it was the first time I played through it.

APOLLO!!!

I hear you. The real sad thing is how easy the bosses are due to spell chaining. Most of the bosses are weak to Gnome, and a chained Earthslide will kill most bosses before they can even attack. That's why the hardest boss for me has always been the Spikey Tiger at the very beginning.

I almost have a full save file on my SNES cart. I'm right at Lich, I have the 8th orb for a couple weapons, I have a lot of the magic maxed out, but I still haven't beaten it!

Picked up Yoshi's Cookie again yesterday. I dunno, I just had a sudden craving to play it again.

And to revive this thread a bit, I just finished Mario's Adventure (SMB3 hack). SEVEN HOURS OF IN GAME PLAY GAIZ. That was one extensive hack... I'd dare to call it a Total Conversion, but it uses original graphics and enemies... (Dragoon X Omega 1&2 are Total Conversions, though)

Yeah, I was really impressed with that hack as well. It can be found here: http://www.vintagecomputing.com/index.php/archives/63 . For those of you who don't know what we're talking about.

I haven't yet set out to really beat it though.

I started Link's Awakening, but then I got sucked into fifty other games.

Right now I'm working on beating Final Fantasy VI for the first time in my life. I know, it's a shame that I've never beaten it before, but I always got bored in the World of Ruin and gave up.

But this time I'm determined.

Star Control 2? I have a friend who lives by those games. Alas, I've not seen him in years.

Heh, I finally convinced myself to go back and FINISH Soul Blazer this time. Level 7-8 and working my way through the Light Temple.

Soul Blazer shouldn't take that long to finish. I beat almost the whole game in one afternoon, and the final boss the next day.

Kinda in the same way you could beat Drakkhen in as little as 24 hours, I suppose, but I'll take some time and powergrind where I can.

I just finished the Game Boy version of Bionic Commando. I needed new screen shots for the Bionic Commando Wiki. That game's a snap if you're already familiar with the NES version.

Beat the fifth dungeon (Quagmire) in Equinox. Now to start the walkthrough. At least that one's not quite as much of a pain in the ass as the previous dungeon (Atlena).

Next dungeon is rather easy, but the floor layout is going to make it tough to map.

Oh boy, is it going to be "fun" mapping that final dungeon...
