What game are you playing right now?

I don't mean right at this moment, of course, unless you can type and play a game at the same time. But what is the last game you've been playing before coming here and posting?

I just finished another New Game + of Airforce Delta Strike for PS2. I finished it a few times before, but the ending and the last stage is different depending on who you play as and a few other things.

I wanted so badly to unlock the Axelay, but you need to buy all the other planes in the game to get it, and there's a glitch in the American version that causes one of the planes to almost never become available for sale.

Ah, I haven't played a text-based adventure game in ages. I actually wrote a few in BASIC years ago. I had one that I just kept adding to it and adding to it. The code was eventually a huge spaghetti mess.

I had one that I could never figure out how to solve. The goal was to get all the treasures, but the King's Crown (or rather how to get to it, since it could be seen from a ledge) always eluded me. Sometimes, I wonder if that program was finished.

Do you still have the source of your BASIC text adventure? I'm kind of interesting to see how it looks. I used to be a huge BASIC programmer several years ago, but DOS is a little old hat now a days.

Oh yes, and I'm currently playing Wolfenstein 3D.

Yeah, I'm retro... retro like a fox! 8-)

I don't have it with me, but I wouldn't be surprised if it still exists on that old IBM clone in my parents' basement in NJ.

I've been playing Zelda for the NES for a little while, and I just recently started playing Castlevania 64 even though I've had it for a while.

I'm not playing any right now... And never do, really... I sometimes start to play "Return to Castle Wolfenstein", but I can't right now because of the weather... It's just too hot to spend various hours in front of your computer.

I know, right now I'm on level six and the room with all the wizzrobes and darknuts is proving a pain.

Level six always annoys me. It's the blue wizzrobes that piss me off the most. I found them to be the most difficult basic enemy in the game. I usually beat level seven first just to get the extra heart container.

I've always thought Level 6 was the hardest First Quest dungeon in that game.

When I first played Zelda many years ago, I actually beat levels 6 and 8 before 5 and 7 because I couldn't find Level 5, and without the whistle from Level 5, I couldn't get into Level 7.

The secret is where faeries aren't.

Or something to that effect.

9 is a bitch too, but I blame that on the wizzrobes. Although the Patras are pretty evil too.

Zuma Deluxe. Popcap games aren't bad, it's just that my mom's bragging about how much further she is in the game right now and there's no way I intend to be outdone by her in a real-time puzzle game.

That and Kingdom Under Fire. Mission 11 for the human side was easier than I remember it... probably because I rushed for dragons right off the bat (humans get free dragons once Keither is out and there are a lot of mages to replenish his mana... and since this misson has Keither as a hero...) and dragons are about as unstoppable of a unit as any in that game, especially when massed.
